midweight Technical Animator

Technical Animation plays a critical role in bridging the gap between art and engineering by developing and maintaining the tools, rigs, and animation systems that support the creation and integration of animated assets. This function is responsible for building and maintaining rigs for characters and dynamic objects, implementing animation blueprints and state machines in the engine, and troubleshooting issues across both DCC applications and runtime environments. It supports and enhances animation and rigging workflows through custom tools and pipeline improvements, ensuring efficiency, visual quality, and performance. Technical Animation works closely with animators, character artists, programmers, and other technical teams to facilitate smooth content integration, align technical processes with creative needs, and maintain the overall functionality of the animation pipeline.
