midweight Audio QA Tester
The Audio QA function contributes to the game development process by verifying the quality and functionality of audio features through systematic testing, analysis, and collaboration. It involves creating and executing test plans that encompass manual, automated, and whitebox testing techniques to evaluate performance, functionality, and user experience across audio systems. The function supports workflows for defect detection, reporting, verification, and regression, while contributing to automation efforts and improving testing procedures within established pipelines. Regular collaboration with audio developers, QA teams, and other departments is essential to identify requirements, address issues, and deliver feedback on audio design intent and user experience. By leveraging tools such as game engines and audio middleware, Audio QA facilitates continuous assessment and documentation of audio features to meet quality standards throughout all stages of production.
