Principal Audio Designer

The Audio Design role is responsible for creating, editing, and implementing high-quality audio assets that support an immersive and cohesive game experience. This includes designing sound effects, dialogue, music, and ambient audio using a mix of original recordings, Foley, libraries, and synthesis techniques. Audio Designers work within established pipelines and tools such as game engines, audio middleware, and proprietary systems to integrate and optimize sound content for interactive and linear elements. They support workflows related to animation, physics, video, and gameplay systems, and collaborate closely with programmers to develop and refine audio triggers and dynamic systems. The role involves frequent cross-functional collaboration with disciplines such as design, art, animation, production, and video teams to ensure audio is aligned with broader project goals and technical requirements.
