Principal Gameplay Programmer

Gameplay Programmers develop and maintain gameplay features and systems that bring interactive elements of a game to life, ensuring functionality, performance, and stability across multiple platforms. Their responsibilities include implementing character controls, AI behavior, physics, and game rules using a proprietary engine and established programming languages such as C++ and C#. They support and refine gameplay systems by writing clean, testable, and maintainable code, often debugging and optimizing for performance and quality. These programmers operate within established workflows that include collaborative iteration, code reviews, and integration with broader game systems. They work closely with designers, artists, animators, and other developers to ensure technical implementations align with creative intent and gameplay goals.
