Senior UX Designer
UX Designers in game development are responsible for creating user-centered interfaces and interactive experiences that support gameplay clarity and engagement. They contribute by producing wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate design intent and ensure intuitive player interaction. Their work supports iterative design processes that incorporate user research, testing, and feedback to refine usability and accessibility. UX Designers collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including game designers, engineers, artists, technical artists, and stakeholders to align visual identity, technical feasibility, and gameplay goals throughout the production lifecycle. They ensure designs remain consistent across platforms and adapt to evolving player needs and technological constraints.
- Game engine implementation experience, technically proficient
- Animation and ActionScript experience
- Experience working with design systems at scale
- Expert understanding of hierarchy and layout design principles, UX process and usability design principles, PC/console specific design patterns
- Good working knowledge of 2D/3D creative tools and/or game engines (Unreal, Maya, Blender, etc)
- High proficiency with industry-standard prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Creative Cloud)
- Proficiency in designing clear wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows using Figma, PowerPoint, or other mock-up software
- Process-oriented, with a solid understanding of Design Thinking and various UX methods, tools, and processes
