Senior Community Manager

A Community Manager serves as a bridge between game developers and players, fostering an engaged and informed community while supporting the overall player experience. They create and publish a range of community-facing communications, including social posts, blogs, patch notes, and updates, to inform, educate, and celebrate players. Community Managers manage community platforms, monitor conversations, respond to inquiries, and gather player feedback to relay insights to development teams. They support workflows such as live operations, community initiatives, campaigns, and events designed to drive engagement and strengthen trust. Regular collaboration with development, marketing, PR, localisation, and customer support teams ensures alignment on messaging, resolution of player-facing issues, and amplification of community voices across channels.

  • Deep understanding of player communications, social media conversations, and creator relationships
  • Prior experience building and growing communities from the ground up
  • Demonstrable experience in creating and executing community campaigns
  • Proficient with tools for analytics, content scheduling, and community listening
  • Comfortable with streaming and podcasting setups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, mail marketing tools, social media scheduling tools, and content creation editing tools
  • Experienced across major platforms including Discord, Reddit, Twitch, Steam, TikTok, and others
  • Strategic thinker with experience setting and delivering against KPIs and growth targets
  • Skilled at navigating and collaborating across publishing and game development teams
  • Ability to create detailed data-informed reports on sentiment and utilise social listening tools
